Barbarella is an Italian/ english singer and songwriter who graduated in musical theatre at the Trinity College of Music in Greenwich. She started to show her passion for song writing at the age of 16 and met a group of Italian musicians who introduced her to some live music venues in Rome. Her dad, who’s a great folk guitarist, spend time together playing and singing a variety of folk and blues songs which gave her the inspiration to tell stories through her lyrics. In February 2010, she met the guitarist Carl Turner and together they started to play in venues around London. They follow a style of music which they call European Folk. This involves a range of sounds which includes country, jazz ,folk, blues and gypsy.
